After hours of searching for a simple and effective way to keep my fishing gear protected when not in use, I couldn’t find anything that truly worked — so I built it.
The first prototype was a white 20L bucket with rod tubes screwed to the sides. It leaked, tipped over easily, and just wasn’t practical.
The next idea was mounting rod tubes into the lid. Stability improved, but the setup was still flimsy.
The search continued until we finally found the perfect bucket. From there, the design evolved into what we have now:
• A strong bucket base
• Rod tubes built into the lid
• A secondary lid for quick access without removing rods
• A utility system to keep tools organised
• An ice/water pack compartment
The result is a stable, durable, all-in-one fishing storage system designed to protect gear and improve convenience on and off the water.
